Biggest mistake, although I didn't really make a conscious decision, was to not allow myself to open up and be honest with my feelings for people. I was too shy for all that and nobody would be interested in me, or so I reckoned. I always allowed my fears of being ridiculed get in the way of potential happiness.
Best decision was giving up drinking. Followed by my decision to give up smoking.

There are too many mistakes and too few good decisions for me to answer either question.
Hi MHN,
Biggest mistake: marrying my first husband at 20.
Best decision:Divorce my first husband at 33 :-)
Life is good.
Worst: Eating at a new, unverified Indian restaurant (oh, the horror).
Best: Started blogging.
BTW, thanks for leaving a comment on my blog.

Sounds like we've all been down the same road at time or two. I love you all. m.
