On the Meme:

I'm suprised they didn't ask for the 5 favorite movies. With all the Star Wars, LOTR series and HP series aside, here are my top picks in order, there may be more than 5:
Gigi
Auntie Mame
Singing In The Rain
The Princess Bride
Willy Wonka
Out of Africa
Steel Magnolias
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
Legend
The Lost Boys
Young Guns
Labrynth
Dirty Dancing
Moulin Rouge
and others, but I guess that's enough for now. :-)

Labrynth is with David Bowie and a very young Jennifer Connolly and Jim Hensons muppets, but not the regular ones we grew up with.

Yes, Tom Cruise and Mia Sara play Lily and Jack in Legend, Tim Curry plays Darkness. very good movie. I love the Jane Austen books. I've read them all, this year in fact. I've only seen Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice is supposed to be out this fall, I can't wait, it was one of my favorite books of the series, that and Northanger Abbey. Emma, I haven't seen yet. It was my least favorite books of the series, but I would probably like the movie. I love period films.

There is a line in Auntie Mame that I love, "You know what your problem is? You don't live, live, LIVE! Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death!". I just love that line!

Jennifer Connolly is dreamy,

Good list of movies. The Princess Bride is a particularly terrific movie.

Now for the biggie - fav Star Wars movies - IN ORDER OF PREFERANCE.

Oh, lets see. I'll have to do this backwards, maybe not. Ok, here it goes, from fav to least fav:

Return of the Sith #3, Paid full price twice, you know it must have been good! This story is on a previous post "2nd Time Around, Even Better"
Attack of the Clones #2
A New Hope #4
Empire Strickes Back #5
The Phantom Menace #1
Return of the Jedi #6 (It made last because the ending Hoovered(sucked)!

How 'bout you, my dear???

Ouch! Can't come back here now.

Nah, joking... (clenched teeth) your entitled to your opinion.

my list would be -

1. Empire
2. Star Wars
3. Return of the Jedi
4 Phantom Menace
5. Revenge of the Sith
6. Attack of Clones.

I'm much much much more of a classic, or proper Stars Wars person.

Finding Neverland was really awesome, a movie that touches your heart. I spent most of the movie with tears hanging in my eyes. *sniff sniff* Some people found Johnny Depp's accent a bit mumbly but it was okay to me. What was really neat was seeing the way that the play was originally performed. I always thought it was a book first, not a play.

Yep, I've seen and have Finding Neverland. Some of the other moms and I were talking about it. The first time I saw it, I was ironing Dave's shirt for Paul's funeral and was crying the whole time. I'm such a girl...

Owie and I were watching re-runs of Little House on the Prairie. I was flipping channels and paused for a minute and he said, "I will get bored with that!", then a couple minutes later he said, "Leave it there, I won't get bored with that." He really liked it. It was the one were Laura and her buddy spent 2 weeks digging up fools gold.

Thanks Lillie!!! You're such a Sweetie!

Hey Crystalpistol! Thanks for dropping by! Hope you visit often. I've seen you at the Chimp's. Herge brings out my darker creative side. I just love that!!! Hope the Mt.Dew didn't burn too bad. The endorphines from the laughter will dull the pain though. :-)

Seriously, you're all deranged if you think Revenge is the best.

I'm tellin' ya, for the "chicks" it's all about the dudes!!! yeah, sure, Harrison Ford was cute back then, but now He's looking pretty old and Mark Hammill, he doesn't even look recognizable since he had his wreck and had to have reconstructive surgery. No. When you want to fantasize about Star Wars, it's the new crop of actors, not the old ones. Sorry man. I will give props though, I do like Empire. It is well above all the rest of my movie favs. :-)

Yeah, Padme dying was the pits. It's a wonder that Anakin didn't squash the emperor right then and there.
