I Have Lost My Mind...Help Me Find it, Please

Okay, I left a post on somebody's blog asking them about Def Leppard. Whose was it and what was the answer??? Also, are the kids from Harry Potter just as popular in the UK as they are in the states?

Sad, it's like going back to a restaurant three days later and asking, "Did I leave my purple purse here?"

Sorry, wasn't my blog.

As for the kids in Harry - loved at first, but now hated. Mainly because they got older.

That might just be me though.

I was going to leave a comment on your 4th July post, but decided it wouldn't be appropriate. I think we are polar opposites in terms of politics and religion (I ain't got none), but ain't it grand that we still get a long?

See ya later.

That should have been 'inappropriate'.

Anyhoo...

Did you have a good 4th?

Herge~ Absolutely! That's the great thing about it. We don't have to have the same views to get along. Life is great that way! :-) Yep, we had a nice 4th. Went to the PIL's for dinner, then to the Pastor's house for the fireworks. The Pastor and his wife and kids are also Owen's god family. Anyway, they have a perfect view of Sugarland's (suburb of Houston) fireworks from their driveway. It was 20 minutes of "OOh, AAh". It was really nice. There was abit of a breeze. That was nice since it was still 89-90F degrees outside. We visited with them for a bit, then came home and put the boy to bed. A good day all-in-all. Were you just born in America or did you grow up here? How did you end up in England?

Lillie~ yeah, I've been having more and more of those "blonde moments", much to my own chagrin... :-i I don't think I'm the Albert Einstein person, but thanks for the article. :-)

MSMS stand for the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science. We're on the campus of the University for Women, and MSMS is basically a residential high school for "academically excellent" juniors and seniors. So yeah. That's my school, and I love it. If you wanna check out the school's website it's located here.

Very cool. I always wished I was better at Math and Science, but alas, my gift is for the gab. And History too, I love history.

Ah but being a math major tends to have its draw backs. Every time I tell somebody I'm a math major, they go into some kind of seizure. I'm afraid one day I'm going to kill somebody.

Math joke:

A man called and ordered a pizza one day and spoke to the girl on the other line. She confirmed his order and said, "We'll have eight slices of hot pizzas at your door in half and hour."

The man replied, "No no, I'm really hungry. Make it 12 slices."

Yep, I think I'm the only person here in the states that still loves D.L. I heard their new song on the radio and I must say it's a bit soft. Not sure if I like it. Doesn't really sound like them. They should have taken their own advice from Pyromania, "It's better to burn out, then fade away!"

Oh, and thanks for finding the purse. It had a my stuff in it! :-) Come back and visit anytime!

Don't feel alone Michelle! I love Def Leppard too! I really enjoyed their new song even though it wasn't 80s rock. A band that can adapt to new music and still score a hit is the ultimate sign of a good band.

Personally, I'm a Bon Jovi addict.

Like them too. We used to go to the Aeros Hockey games and they would play Dead or Alive. I always loved that! I'm a lso a big fan of Boston.

My favorite Boston album is Third Stage. When I was a freshman in college, I got to see them at the Summit in Houston. We were right behind the band and up. So when the "rockman" ascended, I got to see the whole thing. It was amazing! That was the instrument they invented so they could make all the sounds without a synthesizer. Again, it was amazing!! I'm still amazed 17 years later. I'm such a music geek! What can I say, music makes my world revolve! (Currently listening to itunes, Duran Duran: The Chauffeur)
