I'm famous! I got mentioned in the interview. Thanks Michelle, for my fifteen minutes of glory.
Well, it's a good thing I outed myself as a personal friend before the interview. If I'd told you after the interview, then it would have made your statement wrong, and Herge might have accused you of lying.
I was really ticked at the mechanic for lying to me. They spent all day rebuilding my transmission and then it breaks down 10 miles later in the middle of rush hour traffic in a rainy pour down in Houston. Oh yes, he lied!!! (But he did keep his word when he said he'd get me a rental for the weekend so I could finally go home.)
Eh, Herge won't call me a liar, but he might elude to mistakeness. :-) So what mechanic did you go to? I hope you gave him what for! Were your kids with you all stranded on the wet Houston Freeways?
We went to an Ammco dealer on Murphy Rd in Stafford. They were really honorable in re-fixing the new problem. They towed it back and provided a rental car. The new problem comes from a new part they put in that was bad. I had limped off the freeway by the Galleria and was only honked at by ONE person. I tell ya, Houston drivers really are nice.
But the best part was when I got to use the phone at Jack in the Box. The manager let me walk through the back of the restaurant to get to his office. It was so cool!
Mark is picking up our new and improved van tomorrow.

Herge is a funny guy. He makes me laugh every morning. :-)
