Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Well, I'm kind of on the count down for the next HP flick. Owen and I will be in LA during opening weekend. Which means that I won't be able to see it until I get back.

The trailer looks so good and the kids are looking so grown, which is perfect for their characters. Honestly, I can not wait to sse how Michael Newell does at the helm of such a popular franchise. His
Mona Lisa Smiles was pretty enough. I guess I'd have to see more of his movies to have a true opinion of his work.

Anyway, I'm really excited to see Goblet. I must be. I'm gushing in August and the film doesn't open until November!

I've bought the book, and I'll be reading it to C when he gets back from Scotland. We always enjoy going to see the films around Christmas too!

I read #5 three times. I was so completely distraught over Sirius. This last one I'm intrigued by Snape. Trying not to give anything away so Owl won't be abgry if I blow the story.:-)

Owl!! #4 was good. I read that one 3 times too. I finallt stopped reading the books before seeing the movies, just in case they change timelines and scenes for a better flow for the films. I was ticked after seeing #3 for the first time. I thought they had ruined it, but now that I've seeing it a few times I can see why they did what they did.

H.B.P. was a great book. I can't believe that there is only one more up around the bend. The movies have been pretty good adaptions of the books, some of the best adaptionsever done. I really hope that they can make all of them with the same cast and they better had hurry up. I can't see Harry with a five o'clock shadow or a "dirtstashe" (my affectionate name for the moustache of a young man first playing with facial hair).

Hey Tom!!! Welcome! I think so too, H.B.P. was pheonominal! I would think that they'd make him shave. Although he doesn't look too hairy now and he's 15-16. Usually by then if your gonna be a hairy beast, you're already there.

I had this kid at my daycare that had to shave by the time he was in the third grade. All the kids made fun of him. By the time that I got him in the 5th grade, I pulled him in and helped to make him popular, so by Jr. high he was BMOC. Sweet kid, still comes and sees me even though he's a junior in college. :-)

ACtually it appeals to the dreamer in me. :-)

Edwaddo says Herge is having technical difficulties. Hopefully Herge will be back soon. I'm missing my pal...

I'm not sure how this helps with spam, I'm just following someone else's tip.
You really must check out 'His Dark Materials' by Phillip Pullman. There should be some reviews on Amazon.

Thanks for the info. We'll see if i can get it to work. :-)

I keep hearing that His Dark Materials are really good books. I read some of the first chapter of the first book while looking around at a 1/2 Price Books. It was ok. May go get them.
