Today
I found out today that one of Owens' teachers let him read a book to his class and the class that he shares a room with. I am quite pleased. He read, "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" by Dr. Suess. I think we made the right choice in putting him at Apple Tree School. :-)

Sounds like Owen is going to flourish in this school :) You must be proud of him!
Lets hope so. One of his teachers is kind of stodgy and the other is laid-back. Between the two of them he ought to be ok. :-)
Mhn-in the 4 yrs the boys have been in school, I have went from liking the old stodgy one to the young laid back one and currently (as of this moment) I like the tough ones.
You know the ones that subract 10 points for messiness, or for a missing name on a paper...my perception is ever changing.
I am really blessed that they have liked all their teachers. Hopefully, Owen will too.
I remember when Tiffany was in Kindergarten, she was spanked for stepping out of the line (line-up).
That did not go over to well with me...needless to say, we got another teacher.
Best wishes for Owen and you on the road ahead :O)
Spanked???? I won't allow others to spank my kid, but I'll be happy to do it when he gets home. Nobody touches my kid but me & his daddy.
I remember getting spanked in first grade & then again in ninth grade. My mom was very angry both times.
Thanks for the best wishes. :-)
Yeah, I've missed you. :-)
